Four Paws Covid-19 Declaration (September 2020)

Four Paws is planning to resume training classes from Sunday 13th September 2020. We would like you to understand the steps we are taking to keep everybody safe and to operate within government guidelines and the law. We would also like to advise you of your commitment towards keeping safe.

Steps Four Paws will be taking:

  • We will limit our training sessions so that there are no more than 30 people on site at any one time;

  • We will provide hand sanitizer for regular use during classes;

  • We will sanitize equipment (e.g. chairs) which may have been touched before it is redeployed within 3 days;

  • We will keep to government guidelines for social distancing (2 metres or 1 metre+ with additional precaution); We will not touch your dog;

  • We will insist on all dogs being kept on lead for all training sessions;

  • We will keep a register of who attends each training class – this data will be kept for a minimum of 3 weeks and will be reported to NHS Test and Trace should the need arise;

  • We will not run classes if a national or local lockdown is introduced.

Your commitment towards keeping safe:

  • You will not attend classes if you or anyone in your household (or support bubble) is showing any symptoms of Covid-19 (new persistent cough, fever, reduction in sense of taste or smell);

  • You will not attend classes if you have knowingly been in contact with Covid-19;

  • You will inform us if you attend a Four Paws class and subsequently show any symptoms of Covid-19;

  • You will not socialise with other members during training sessions unless you have attended with them as a social group and then adhered to restrictions which apply to social group sizes (maximum 6 when more than 2 households);

  • You will keep to government guidelines for social distancing while attending classes.

We will ask you to email our Membership Secretary, Grahame (info@fourpawstraining.co.uk), to acknowledge that you have read this declaration and that you agree to your commitment to it.

Many thanks for your cooperation – we look forward to seeing you in classes.

Your Committee
